Southern Armada

After a few sessions of wiping we finally downed the Beasts of Northrend. The raid was a mix of people from R1 and R2 (and some from no raid at all).

In other progress news 25 man Malygos and 25 man Kologarn have also become mere notches on Southern Armada's belt of not inconsiderable girth. In 10 man Sarth 1D (3D coming soon) was also dispatched with incredible ease by both raid groups.

Drduke please don't kill me. The thing is, we one shot Malygos, and I didn't want to 3D without you so I thought "Hey, let's wipe on Vezax for a bit." But the thing is we killed him. Accidently. Sorry.

 
Cheers all round when Malygos 10 man went down for the first time to a Southern Armada guild group. On attempt number 6 it all came together, and as a bonus several members gained the Champion of the Frozen Wastes title which had eluded them for so long. Let's hope this is the first of many kills in the Eye of Eternity!

In addition the formative outing of raid group 3 (10 man) started sharpening their fangs with some Naxx slaughter. Quite a few had joined the combined 25 man Naxx so the content doesn't have that many surprises to offer but taking the lead and getting the tactics down with new allies is still fun.

In another triumph of epic proportions, Raid 1 have owned 10 man Mimiron's delicate little face. The fight ended up being a moderate challenge, taking two sessions to learn. We then butted heads with General, who seems quite a bit meaner. Quite frankly though I'd like to barbeque him and crack all that claw meat out with some pliers. Delicious!

Also a belated congrats to the chaps who downed Malygos 10 man on Saturday. Well done!
